After many months of scrubbing buckets, sweeping floors, making many cups of tea and coffee, I became the star trainee at ‘Sheila Morris’ in Guildford, where I made a bouquet for Princess Ann, one of my most exciting projects. Soon to leave to open a shop with my Mum and Dad in Petworth West Sussex, where Spriggs Florist began and is still going strong with my brother Mathew and sister Samantha. I still visit regularly and admire the beautiful shop, sometimes, a little envious until I come back to the quiet tranquillity of my workshop.
